Information About Rory:
Personal Description:
I am based in Faversham Kent, and offer tutoring in your own home. I am fully CRB checked and currently work in a secondary school in Thanet.
My specialism is English, but can also offer Maths if required. I have experience of working with GCSE and BTEC students and have taught English as an additional language to adults. I can also offer exam preparation and techniques along with revision guidance.
Teaching Experience:
I have experience of working with children in years 8 to 12. I have worked closely with EAL students, and supported them through GCSE examinations. My experience of working as a teaching assistant has given me the knowledge and experience required to successfully connect with students.
Tutoring Approach:
I offer one to one tailor made lessons, taking into account ability and National Curriculum requirements allowing students to successfully complete their chosen courses. My lessons are very informal allowing students to relax and build their confidence to successfully sit examinations.
