Personal Description:

Hello,
My name is Marilyne and I am 32. I am French but I also have the German Nationality. My Mother is German and my Father French. I was born and raised in France, but my mother speaks to me in German. I am therefore bilingual. Well I am now trilingual as my English is fluent. In fact, I have been leaving in the UK for 12 years.
My husband is South African and we have two young daughters. My oldest daughter goes to Green Meadow School and my youngest still goes to Nursery (Foundations Day).
I speak French with my daughters.
I have for many years worked using my languages (sales admin, purchasing, customer services). In the last 4 years I have been working as a HSE Officer (NEBOSH qualified). I am now at home and thought that I might be able to help children learn French, help with homework or even teach adults who would like to speak French.

Teaching Experience:

I have no teaching experience as such, except teaching my own children.
I have carried out translations (in writing and oral) throughout my working years.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that tutoring is great as it is sometimes difficult to keep up at school. Class rooms have in average 20+ pupils. Each pupils has a different learning and understanding speed. Tutoring is there to boost confidence, make the subject fun to learn and to patiently teach and explain.

• Baccalaureat A2 (Literature – Philosophy – Languages (German/English/Spanish)
• First Certificate of Cambridge (English) - Westminster College – London
• NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health
