Personal Description:
A patient and friendly 27 year old tutor available for Maths and Physics tuition in Cambridge and surrounding area, willing to travel to your home.
Qualifications:
2:1 B-Eng in Electronic Engineering from University of Southampton.
A levels in Maths, Physics and Design and Technology from Warwick School
I currently work as an Application Engineer in Cambridge designing bespoke parts for medical analysis and other applications.
Teaching Experience:
As a Venture Scout I helped teach the scouts (aged 10-15) as a young leader. Activities included canoeing, sailing, map reading, rope work and survival skills.
Through University I was sponsored by The Royal Navy to become an Engineering Officer. During this time I was Offshore Sailing Club Captain and taught novices and experienced sailors practical skills and theory on and off the water. I was also involved in instrucing and training the younger entrants to the sheme.
I am also a dinghy sailing instructor and have taught children from 4 years old up to adults.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to offer an engaging and challenging learning enviroment where students are able to take ownership of their learning and achieve highly. The students needs and learning styles will be catered for in each session as I will use interactive methods to help them achieve their full potential and to sustain focus for the full session.
