Personal Description:

I have worked in education for over 11 years. I have taught all ages from teaching individual students at Reception and Primary level to working with large numbers of pupils up to KS5. I am an extremely patient and encouraging teacher and enjoy working to meet the needs of each pupil taught.

Teaching Experience:

I have worked in a primary school both as a TA and a class teacher. I have had a very high success rate tutoring children for 11+. In addition, I have tutored children for SATs, as well as more general support Yr3-Yr8. I am a qualified Secondary School Teacher in English and Drama and have been at a top Independent School for the last 7 years.

Tutoring Approach:

I work to develop trust with the pupil, initially endeavouring to gain a clear understanding of strengths and weaknesses. I am a firm believer in helping to establish confidence in each pupil's abilities. Preparation time and planning is built in to the cost when necessary.
