Information About Alex:
Personal Description:
I have an BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics as well as an MA in War Studies from Kings College London. Alongside studying, I am a full-time fencer, and represent the UK in foil at the highest international level. I also work as a krav maga instructor and am registered with the British Combat Association. I enjoy playing jazz piano on the side.
Teaching Experience:
I work full-time as a tutor, both freelance and in association with several top London agencies. I have extensive experience teaching a variety of subjects and a range of abilities. Before moving to London, I worked for a year at the Vienna International School teaching jazz piano and ensemble to students of various ages. I also worked in Warsaw, Poland as an English teacher with 'Testing and Foreign Language Services'. I have coached fencing and teach self defense classes in Krav Maga.
Tutoring Approach:
I dont believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to tutoring. Everyone is different, and different people need different approaches to make the most out of their learning experience. The key is to find the right approach for each person.
