Personal Description:
Hi, I'm Wendy and am 29 years old. I work at a school in Northumberland teaching children from age 3 - 9. After qualifying from University I worked as a supply teacher for one year working with children aged from 3 - 11.
I love teaching and am a patient and approachable teacher. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as can remember and I like to make learning fun!!
Teaching Experience:
Completed many teaching practices while at university.
Worked as a supply teacher for one year.
Have now been working at my current school for 6 years.
Tutoring Approach:
I help children to gain confidence in their own ability, encouraging them all the time.
It is important that children find learning fun.
I work closely with parents/guardians making sure that they are aware what has been learnt after each session.
I know that each child learns in a different way so I plan sessions that will be suitable for the individual.
