Information About Susan:


Personal Description:

24 year old female, living in Manchester city centre. I am originally from Liverpool and came to Manchester to study English Literature and Language at University, gaining a 2.1. honours degree. I decided to stay in Manchester as I find it an amazing city and have some great friends here. I currently work as an insurance underwriter and have been for the past two years. I thoroughly enjoy my job and I am very dedicated and ambitious, currently studying and participating in exams with the aim of achieving a diploma in insurance.

In my spare time I enjoy going the gym, playing badminton, yoga, painting artwork, going the pub (etc) and I'm also a keen cook.

I am able to work in the pupil's home and I am also willing to travel to pupils houses as long as is near to City Centre (and accessible by tram, bus, train etc as do not drive)

I have always had a desire to teach, but was never interested in doing it full time, therefore becoming a personal tutor would be a perfect opportunity for me to do something worthwhile which i will enjoy.

I have not had any previous teaching experience



Tutoring Approach:

I am young, approachable and believe the best learning will be in an environment where enjoyment is factored in. I will ensure this is the case.
I am extremely patient, friendly and a clear communicator and I value these attributes as being significant benefits required when offering personal tutoring.
I may not have the experience of other tutors but I feel i certainly have the enthusiasm and helpful, dedicated attitude that will ensure i am alert to the pupil's needs.
