Personal Description:
I am 30 year old female with an enthuasiam and passion for mathematics. I am compassionate and empathise with the many difficulties pupils experience in this area.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching maths for seven years and I have experience in teaching a range of pupils with varying abilities, from pupils with special needs to pupils with outstanding natural ability. I have had many successes with pupils at key stage 3, GCSE and A-Level. I am currently teaching in a secondary school in the greater Belfast area.
Tutoring Approach:
I am an experienced tutor experiencing a high rate of success. I can provide diagnostic testing to identify and target weaknesses. I have experience of various exam boards and I'm familiar with both these specifications at both GCSE and A Level. I have tutored pupils from a range of mathematical backgrounds with varying ability. I strive to increase student's enjoyability and as a result increase their confidence in this subject. Through the use of ICT, revision materials, past papers and personalised resources I endeavour to help students achieve their full potential.
