Personal Description:

I have recently completed the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), and have also been teaching a social sciences subject in a university setting since October 2006. My own academic interests relate mainly to ancient history/Classics.

Teaching Experience:

I have been an Associate Lecturer with the Open University since October 2006, teaching within the Social Sciences Faculty. I have also undertaken ESOL teaching during whilst studying for the CELTA qualification.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to establish a good rapport with students and use a variety of techniques and resources, which I customise to fit in with what works best for the student.
