Information About Carol:

Personal Description:

I live in Glasgow.I am a speech and drama teacher.I'm also qualified in Media Studies but do not currently teach this subject.I have a son who has just entered 3 rd year and is taking Standard Grade Drama.I live in the West End of Glasgow and I'm able to take advantage of a wide variety of cultural events.

Teaching Experience:

I teach in a Secondary school in Cumbernauld which is outside Glasgow.I have taught for 24 years.I started teaching in the Special education sector and have experience of teaching a wide age range.

Tutoring Approach:

I think it is important to focus on the preferred learning style of the pupil.We all have different ways of learning.I also think detailed feedback helps to improve attainment.All students are encourage to be pro active in their learning and to ask questions.
