Personal Description:
Language Graduate (French/Russian), 2:1 from Strathclyde University
Currently working in Alternative Investment sector as Head of Sales for an Investment management company in Switzerland. Utilise French and German daily. Returning to the UK to enter teaching profession. Will train in 2009 to teach foreign languages in Secondary schools in Scotland. Had teaching experience in both France (11-18 year olds) and Russia (11-20 year olds)
Acquired a diploma in teaching Spanish from University of Dundee (2008)
Teaching Experience:
Had teaching experience in both France (11-18 year olds) and Russia (11-20 year olds); in both cases I was teaching English
Tutoring Approach:
Am very easy-going, with excellent communication skills, am also very sociable and personable and a hard worker, always adopting a very professional and structured approach
As a language graduate and a speaker of foreign langauages on a daily basis, I have both a lot of material and know how on learning a foreign langauge. An interactive approach is essential. Students will be very at ease learning a langauge with me and they will definitely obtain their desired result through a structured and highly tailored approach. Learning a foreign langauge is an exciting, inspirational and highly engaging process, and I am totally committed to ensuring students think, believe and feel likewise.
