Personal Description:

I am Polish, originally from near Krakow. I am friendly and always looking to meet new people. I am comfortable working with both adults and children. I qualified as a teacher in Poland and have had my qualifications translated into a British equivalent.

I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals and feel that I'm capable of helping people become confident, not just proficient, with the skills I am teaching.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching children, teenagers and adults on language courses, at state schools and on private lessons.

Tutoring Approach:

I use different techniques and methods in teaching English dependant upon the learner's age, learning abilities, students' needs and interests. I teach English to children through play (games, songs, drama etc), teenagers through various exercises and acivities based on their interests (lyrics, films, texts, drama), in adult teaching I prepare different tasks involving skills they want to improve (speaking, listening, reading and/or writing).

I also take into acount the type of learner my student is, whether s/he learns better through the written word, listening or doing and teach them necessary learning techniques so that students could effectively acquire knowledge.

Qualifications:

• MA degree in English Philology majoring in English Language Teaching
• BA degree in English Language
• Diploma of Completion of Foreign Language Teacher Training College in English Language
