Personal Description:
I am an undergraduate student currently studying English at a top UK university. I have a great passion for teaching combined with a great deal of experience. I believe that I have the capability to vary my teaching styles to suit individual learning preferences as well as teach my subjects with great enthusiasm to ensure the best possible outcome.
Teaching Experience:
I have a year's experience working as a tutor for a renown tuition centre in London. During this time I worked with students ranging from the age of 5-16 and of various abilities. I have also had 2 years experience as a substitute teacher where I have taught all core subjects to primary classes and also single subject lessons to secondary school students.
Tutoring Approach:
As teaching is what I hope to pursue my career in, I believe that tutoring on a one-to-one basis will enable me to apply all my skills to the maximum benefit of the individual as opposed to the shared benefit of a whole class. I am willing and enthusiastic towards adapting various teaching methods to suit the tutee's capabilities in order for them to perform to the best of their ability.
