Information About Mohamed:

Personal Description:

I am Mohamed Nadifi, 27 of age Moroccan national. I am writing to you seeking a job opportunity in your institution. The position attracts me because of the skills I have gained during my Master’s course in Arabic/English translation at the University of Salford. Previously, I did a BA in English Linguistics at the University of Humanities Hassan II in Casablanca, Morocco. Your detailed job description convinced me that this position will allow me to utilise the knowledge and experience I have developed during my studies.

Teaching Experience:

- Having had the opportunity to study and work with languages, I believe that I, equally, have a strong command of Arabic and English enabling me to provide courses in both of them. Additionally, studying for my qualifications and my experience in teaching has ensured that I maintain not only a very high standard of written and spoken Arabic but the English language as well.
- As an Arabic teacher, I have taught Arabic at a variety of levels, Beginners, intermediate, Advanced, using a variety of media including audio-visual, computer and dealing with a variety of social contexts e.g. individual, pair, and group.
- I am a Self-motivated, good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and can work well under pressure. In my post as an Arabic teacher it was essential that I delivered, with other teachers, a number of courses on a specific period of time focusing on ameliorating the students’ Arabic language skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
- I am proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and a regular Computer user, utilising this to develop my organisational and administrative skills. I am also willing to undertake any training that will develop my IT skills to further enhance my delivery of the course.
- Strongly determined to achieve targets and to adapt to different academic levels within a multicultural classroom, I also enhance the students' self confidence by stimulating their interest and get them genuinely involved in the process of learning and I also help them far beyond the scope of class in order to freely express their views and opinions.
- My ability to develop language materials for different subjects (social, political, cultural, economic, legal, business, and management topics) and teach short courses in a variety of contexts has been proven within my previous work experience teaching students in Morocco. I always make sure to vary the programmed courses and to help maximise student learning within a minimum period of time.

- My previous teaching experience has ensured that I am able to produce educational and testing materials, specifically tailored to the level of specific groups. To ensure that the program is efficient, I depend on many sources such as the internet, books, libraries, and other educational references.

- I am a native speaker of Arabic and originate from a country (Morocco) in which Arabic is the official language of the government.

- I hold an in M.A. Arabic/English Translation from the University of Salford and hold a TEFL Certificate. Additionally, during my period of study, I feel that perfection of the Arabic language was a crucial part of all the academic qualifications I gained.

- Order and organisation are, I feel, essential to the delivery of the course content and I make a conscious effort not only to impart information to my students, but also to motivate them beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

- Having been a part-time lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of Ain Chock Casablanca, Morocco. I encouraged students to think theoretically as well as practically regarding the aspects of translation.

- I wish to make a positive contribution to the college by utilising my past experiences in any way possible to benefit and enhance both the college’s reputation within the field of languages as well as enhancing student learning.

- One of my previous roles involved Teaching American adult students (Green Corps association) the Standard Arabic language as well as the Moroccan dialect during their working period in Morocco.

I am available for interview at your convenience and look forward to hearing from you soon.
