Personal Description:

I am a LLB(Hons)Law Degree holder. A native speaker of mandarin, cantonese and can speak fluently in English. I am offering translating, interpreting and language tuition services in a part time basis. Moreover, I am also a volunteer mandarin teacher in newcastle church during sunday school.I have excellent communication skills and passionate in languages. I am experienced in teaching mandarin to non-native speakers. My students are from different ages, backgrounds. My responsibilities are to prepare courses materials, conducting tutorials, marking students assignments and test papers.

* 2007- present*
I am a full time volunteer Mandarin teacher in Newcastle church sunday school.

*2006-2007*
I have been working as a private mandarin teacher under Global Academic Tutors in London.

* 2003-2005*
Home Based Private Tuition Service (Mandarin-English) in part time basis. Students ranged from
beginners through to advanced students



Tutoring Approach:

*I provide a professional tuition service, face-to-face language lessons focusing on building up
your chinese from scratch or developing areas such as conversation, reading or writing for
private lessons and/or group learning for any age groups.

*Each student is different and therefore deserve styles of teaching tailored to their particulars
needs. Before the lesson commence, I'll get to know the depth of the students standard of
knowledge and their current abilities before deciding the exact approach.

*I am patient and flexible to make language learning an interesting and interactive process, in
which I will creatively adjust the pace of teaching and tailor courses to help you learn chinese in the
way most beneficial to you.

* Different levels of materials and notes will be provided.

*Generally, the mandarin courses covers basic pronunciation(PIN YIN), daily conversation,
standard grammar with recommended book and CD based on individual needs.

*Free chinese caligraphy lesson (optional)
