Personal Description:

Hi everybody keen on learning something new :o) My name is Michaela and I am a young, energetic and experienced teacher/tutor. If you asked my students what my lessons are like, they would most commonly answer that they are both fun and hard work at the same time so they always learn a lot while working in a stimulating and relaxed environment.



Teaching Experience:

I am a Czech native speaker currently working in the UK. I have an MA degree in Secondary Education (Teaching of English and German).
In the Czech Republic I worked as a languages teacher in a kindergarten, secondary school (mixed grammar school) as well as in several private language schools so I have previous experience teaching children, teenagers and adult learners.
I also have a five-month teaching experience at a mixed comprehensive school in the UK where I taught German at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Afterwards, I worked as a freelance tutor preparing students for their German GCSE and A-level exams.
At the moment, I'm working as an EFL teacher in Bournemouth delivering lessons to
learners of mixed nationalities.

I am reliable, motivated, patient and enthusiastic.
My main strengths are the ability to understand students' individual learning needs, employ a wide range of teaching techniques and remain calm and professional under pressure.
