Information About Paulina:

Personal Description:

My name is Paulina and I come from Poland. I'm a student at the University of Manchester, studying Japanese. I have BA degree in English Studies and I enjoy teaching.
I am a warm and friendly person and enjoy making my lessons fun and interesting. I like to get to know my students and want to make sure I can relate to them by using relevant resources and materials. I am passionate about the subjects I teach and have spent a lot of time creating lessons that can help each student to progress.
I am always open to suggestions on how to make my lessons better and want to help each person achieve their goals.

Teaching Experience:

During my studies in Poland I worked as a privet tutor and also as a voluntary teacher in a few primary schools and high schools. For a past year I enjoyed teaching English to Japanese students who came to Manchester as the university exchange students. I used to prepare people to the British Council examinations (FCE; CPE; CAE).

Tutoring Approach:

First of all, I enjoy teaching and I believe there is not a chance someone is not able to learn a foreign language. As a teacher, one has to be creative and try to learn as much as possible about their student to be able to teach effectively. All languages have their own logic, you just need to show people how this logic works and encourage them to follow it. Then, they will not fail.
