Information About Eve:

Personal Description:

Currently employed as a full time teacher in a Secondary School. After a drama degree and a Masters, I trained as an English teacher and I am currently Head of Media Studies as well as teaching KS3 and GCSE English and Literature.

Teaching Experience:

PGCE in English, have just completed my first year and been promoted to Head of Department.

Tutoring Approach:

I can work on key skills or help students with the units they are covering in lessons at school, whichever they require.
I think students benefit significantly from going through things that worry them one-on-one, something their subject teachers do not have time or opportunity to do. I think students' understanding and confidence can be massively increased by a tutor who can look carefully at their work to identify key areas for development and provide the individual with strategies to improve these areas.
