Personal Description:
I'm 26, with an MSc in Economics from Cardiff University (2009) and a BSc in Business Economics from Swansea (2007). This has left me with a high understanding of economic theories and methods, and also Mathematical concepts, as such I have succesfully tutored students up to GCSE standard in Maths, and A level standard in Economics.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored students for a number of years now at A level and University standards and have helped tutor many of my peers and friends at BSc level, leaving me with a good knowledge of how best to convey ideas and concepts.
Tutoring Approach:
Textbook and note based. I will ask what area the student is having difficulties in beforehand, read up on the specific area, then go through their text book with them.
I believe patience is essential, and as such am very patient and try to explain things step by step so the student can understand fully. It is very important to build a trusting rapport with the students so they will not be afraid to ask any questions
