Personal Description:
I am a 21 year old student, currently studying Financial Maths at Loughborough University. I have always had a flare for maths and excelled at it throughout school. Outside of studying, I am a keen sportsman, playing both tennis and golf to a relatively high standard. I am a hard working and reliable individual who loves new challenges.
Teaching Experience:
Although no formal mathematics teaching experience, during college and university, I often helped out classmates and other friends who struggled with problems in classwork or homework. I am a qualified tennis coach though, so I do have experience in working with children and adults in a coaching scenario which I think is a great benefit.
Tutoring Approach:
I love to pass on my knowledge (in either maths, tennis, or any other subject) and help others to learn/improve. I feel that I can adapt my style to the pupil, as everyone learns differently. Some like to be shown a method/technique and left to try, whilst others like to be talked thought it step by step. I am able to cater for all learning styles.
