Personal Description:
I am 50 years old, married and have 3 young children in primary and secondary school. I enjoy working with children and always try to generate fun enthusiasm for all the subjects I tutor.
Teaching Experience:
I have helped many children achieve their full potential for 20 years. I have tutored at all levels up to A-level and have taught in small groups as well. I have received lots of praise from parents when the students have received their impressive results. I specialise in exam preparation and have marked exam papers for GCSE.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a relaxed and friendly approach. I always carry out a brief assessment at the start and target weak areas through an agreed plan with the children and parents. Homework is always set after each session and is based upon the work carried out during the session to help reinforce the material covered.
