Cara - Glasgow tutor
Information About Cara:
Personal Description:
I have a BA (Hons) in English Studies, where I specialised in Theatre Studies. I have a passionate interest in theatre, and am involved with Strathclyde Theatre Group. I am also a keen writer and working on my first novel which is aimed at a young adult readership.
Teaching Experience:
During my time at university I mentored students who were having difficulties as part of a programme run by the Law, Arts and Social Sciences department.
I am applying to train to be a secondary school teacher, to teach both English and Drama.
Tutoring Approach:
I am passionate about English and Theatre and am keen to find ways to engage a tutee's attention by helping them finding something they can relate to in what they are studying, and using their enjoyment to make it more fun.
I am also consistent, well organised and patient, and aware of the required outputs for curricular studies.
