Personal Description:
I have been teaching English and Media Studies for six years and my current teaching post is in a well respected Cheshire secondary school where I hold additional responsibilities. Prior to going into teaching, I was a Marketing Manager for a design company for over 6 years.
Teaching Experience:
I teach English from Year 7 through to Year 13, and Media Studies from GCSE through to A Level. Additionally, I am an examiner for AQA for GCSE English and Media Studies, and for A Level Media Studies. I adapt my teaching to suit my tutees preferred learning style and always provide additional resources for my students to work on independently following the tutorial session, to encourage independent learning and consolidate understanding.
Tutoring Approach:
I am committed to achieving success for my students as well as a more confident approach to the subject I am helping them with. In relation to my secondary teaching, all my students achieved target grade or higher in SATs, GCSE and A Level. As a private tutor, I provide all tutees with a learning programme individually tailored to their needs.
