Personal Description:
I have a keen interest in Theatre and literature. I have travelled across the U.K. and Republic of Ireland as an actor and director in Theatre In Education. I am confident, sociable and very patient.
Teaching Experience:
I spent nine and a half years on tour as an actor and director in touring theatre in education, teaching various curriculumn subjects to children aged 5-16 through drama. The process also developed drama and social skills such as group interaction, confidence building, speaking and listening skills and reading and writing. I also have experience of teaching one on one, small groups and classes through working in schools.
Tutoring Approach:
I am patient, enthusiastic and spend time trying to find the best way to communicate what I am trying to impart to the pupil. I like to explain through demonstrating, working through problems with people and tailoring my approach to the individuals learning style.
