Information About Mathilde:
Personal Description:
I am French and am currently doing my PGDE for secondary school at Aberdeen university.
I have a degree in English and French as a Foreign Language that i did at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
I do not drive and therefore can't really go out of town.
Teaching Experience:
I tutored children in maths, english and german when i was still a student, in France.
I worked as a modern languages assistant for Aberdeenshire Council in 2006-2007, where i mainly help pupils with their speaking.
As a student teacher at Aberdeen University I have taught when on school placement.
Tutoring Approach:
Being a native speaker, I can easily help your conversational skills (tone, accent, intonation ... ). When it comes to conversation, I focus more on the ability to communicate rather than the accuracy of grammar.
I enjoy giving tips to remember grammar points or words, trying to link French to English as much as possible.
