Personal Description:

Hello everyone
I am a trained mathematics teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and maths, as well as a Bachelor of Education in Maths and Social Science. I am currently teaching mathematics in a secondary school for students in year 7 -11 with a range of abilities. I am a very opened minded individual who enjoys working with young people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. I love my job as a teacher and wish to share my strengths, to help more young people understand maths better.

Teaching Experience:

I have six years of university training where I complete two degrees, along with two teaching placements that have prepared me for the teaching profession. I am currently teaching in my second year in a comprehensive school in the South East. I have a lot of experience working with young people in the classroom as well as through youth centres and sports teams. I have the experience and skills to work with students of all abilities and ages, to help them reach their potential.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that all students have the ability to learn given the right teaching and motivation. I am confident that I can help you or your child increase their understanding of maths and help them reach their potential targets. I have a variety of different activities, resources, and methods to teach maths topics that have worked for my students in the past. I am confident that I can find a method or approach that would work best with you or your child.
