Personal Description:

Hi,
I am a 27 year old Australian science teacher who enjoys the challenge of teaching science to secondary students.



Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching for 6 years with experience in two education systems (Australian and British).
For the last two years i have been at a secondary school and sixth form college in Surrey. During this time i have gained experience in teaching key stage 3 general science and GCSE Physics. This experience has also allowed me to gain an understanding of the new course of study for GCSE science.
My previous experience was in the Australian education system teaching lower school general science, and senior biology and marine science.



Tutoring Approach:

During my years of teaching i have come to learn that there are a number of different ways that students learn and retain information. I believe that getting the basics is vital for students to be able to gain a deeper understanding of the content and to extend their knowledge and interest in the subject. I also believe that basing the science around real world applications students will see the relevance and take a greater interest in science
