Information About Susan:

Personal Description:

Initial lesson will analyse level of tutees language acquisition, followed by discussion regarding learning aims (GCSE, Conversation, Business etc). I have a wide range of French materials including books, magazines, cds etc. & conversation usually takes about 15 minutes of my lessons. Where possible, I use the internet with my students.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught French to Primary Children (years 5 & 6) where the level was complete beginners. I have also worked in a Secondary School where I helped children to prepare for their GCSE French. As well as this, I have given French classes to adults who own a property in France & were looking to acquire some language (general conversation, holiday french, how to open bank accounts etc.). I currently tutor GCSE students (year 10 & 11) and a KS3 pupil (year 8).

Tutoring Approach:

Having taught French both in and out of a school, I am equally at ease working with large groups, small groups or individuals and can cater to your specific language learning requirements. I work with students up to GCSE level and can offer guidance on grammar, conversation, writing etc. I have a real love of the French language and offer students enthusiasm, hard-work and reliability.
