French - to GCSE level

Teaching Experience:

10 years as a school / 6th form teacher, teaching french and spanish to GCSE and A Level and business studies to A Level and IB

4 years in adult education, lecturing on a variety of business and legal courses, including BTEC Level 3 business, ILM level 3 and level 5 and ILEX

3 years as a legal trainer, designing and delivering professional law courses & CPD training

Tutoring Approach:

Depends on the level and the requirement of the pupil, as each will have different needs, and no one approach will suit everyone. At GCSE the focus is upon effective communication, and there should be an emphasis on enjoyment. At A Level, more attention needs to be placed on getting things right. The private tutor's role is to complement that of the classroom teacher, and work on those areas in which the pupil needs extra practice.

My approach is therefore entirely flexible
