Taku - Liverpool tutor

Information About Taku:

Personal Description:

I am a 24 year old second year PhD student at the University of Liverpool. I am part of the laser group within the engineering department and conduct research into laser interactions with conductive inks. I am also working on the FLAVIIR project sponsored by BAe systems and EPSRC.
I am originally from Dorset and came to Liverpool to study Physics. I later went on to do a MSc in laser engineering, and have lived in the Wavertree area, Liverpool for six years.

Teaching Experience:

I have been employed as a personal tutor on a one to one basis in Japan teaching English. This was done for about three months between studies on a full time basis.

Tutoring Approach:

The lessons will be targeted to the student, their requirements and needs. In all cases I would like to chat with the student before the first lesson (over the phone is fine), to fully understand exactly what they want from the lessons and what areas if any, they would like to concentrate on. Then a programme of work can be suggested.
