Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic, committed teacher of Science. I have thirteen years teaching experience in Secondary Schools across the UK.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently teaching at an FE college in Surrey. I teach A-level Biology and Chemistry. Previously I have taught at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, throughout the age and ability range.
I have offered private tuition for the past two years and have taught students for 11+ up to IB and A-level.
I have experience of teaching a wide range of abilities and offer a calm and supportive service.
I was a Key Stage Three Marker.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe very much in catering for the individual needs of each student. I regularly consult with students and parents to ensure that the needs of tutee are being addressed. With my knowledge of exams I can offer support and exam preparation or simply general support with the subject focusing on problem areas and gaps in knowledge, which can hinder progress.
