Personal Description:
Hello, I'm Ashy. I am a qualified overseas trained teacher. I am UK Naric (VCE advanced Subsidiary (AS) level and BTEC National Certificate/Scottish Higher standard) and CRB (Maldives and UK) cleared.
Teaching Experience:
I have ten years teaching experience in both primary and middle school with ages ranging from 5 to 12 years.
I have two teaching certificates (Primary teaching certificate and Middle School teaching certificate).
I have also taught psychology, journalism and media studies at colleges in the Maldives. I have also conducted workshops for the British council in Thailand on ways to teach young learners (EFL) using motivational methods such as songs, drama and mnemonics.
I have also conducted customer care workshops in resorts in the Maldives.
Tutoring Approach:
I wish to do one to one tutoring or small group tutoring (about 4 students).
