Information About Tara:
Personal Description:
I am a psychology student currently on placement, working with people with learning disabilities. I am friendly, reliable and devoted to helping young people learn and achieve their potential. I love incorporating having fun into learning and getting great grades.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently a teaching assistant and provide support during classes for people with learning disabilities. I also facilitate a weekly support group for parents (20 - 50 yrs) with learning disabilities and their children (2 yrs - adult) which involves teaching new skills and delivering useful information in an accessible way. The diversity of individual needs I meet on a daily basis means that it is essential that I am a dynamic, adaptive and innovative individual.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is simple: to ensure your success, we will assess your needs and work together to achieve the grade you want by planning a course of study. From this we can address your weaknesses and make them your strengths!
