Personal Description:
I am a qualified teacher of French and drama. I am originally from France and I qualified as a drama teacher in 1993. i am a lively teacher who likes challenging my students and who uses a lot of interactive techniques for learning like role-plays.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching in schools/colleges and privately for over 15 years. My private students last year exceeded all their expectations ( 2 A's, 1 B and 1 C)and I have an excellent knowledge of the GCSE syllabus ( Edexcel). I also often tutor as AS and A level with good results. I am an examiner for Drama and can help my students by supporting the written work which is very challenging both for Edexcel and AQA examining boards or improve their acting techniques or knowledge of the theatre practitioners.
Tutoring Approach:
- student focused, I start where the students and target the lessons to his needs and to the exam
- informal and friendly tutoring, the students are responsible for their own learning and are treated as independent learners
- thorough and demanding: I always teach some basic grammar so that students can make sense of the language, i use key words to develop knowledge and understanding
