Personal Description:
I'm a Chinese and I'm friendly and enthusiastic towards my work. I'm also a patient person, since my work is mainly to do with children of 12-18 years old. I can work with a very positive attitude and can always be helpful.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching English in China for 4 years, and then Chinese in UK for 2 years. I majored in English education when I was in university, which enable me to have a profound knowledge of teaching. I taught students of A-level last year as well as evening class for adults, and this year I'm teaching GCSE Chinese. So I believe that I'm experienced in teaching both Chinese and English.
Tutoring Approach:
Since I've been teaching students of different ages and levels, I fully understand that I should choose different methods and teaching materials for them. But it's always important to activate students enthusiasm towards learning. So group work, pair work, individual competition as well as the media like ppt will be used in my class. Also I'd like to choose varieties of teaching materials such as flash cards and pictures to help.
