Personal Description:
I am a 4rd year Biochemical Engineering masters student in University College London. Tutoring has always been something I enjoy and I wish to continue while pursuing my master degree. I have a good academic track record, obtaining straight A's for Maths, Chemistry and Physics in 'A' Levels and is on the track in attaining a 1st class honors in my field of study. Teaching Experience:
I have tutored students at primary to GCSE levels in Maths, Science, English, Physics and Chemistry for the past few years, where all had made improvements in their grades.
Last year, I have done voluntary tutoring in Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Language College.
Recently, I was also a summer camp instructor in the states, teaching children canoeing and kayaking.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that having a strong foundation is important before tackling a subject in depth, especially for Maths and Sciences, thus I will start from the basics if the student's foundation is weak. I will cultivate their interest in the subject and emphasize the importance of practicing and true understanding rather than memorizing.
