Personal Description:

My name is Qin Li. I moved to the UK in 2006. Originally I come from Guangzhou in southern China but I now live in Wimbledon, London.
I speak English fluently and studied English at university. In addition to speaking Mandarin I also speak Cantonese and Hakka dialects.



Teaching Experience:

I trained at the Teacher's College of Foreign languages and Art in Guangzhou for five years. Having completed my training I spent three years working at a private school in Guangzhou. Since moving to the UK I have been doing private tuition and currently I am working as a part-time mandarin teacher. I am teaching mandarin at all kinds of different levels, the youngest students I have aged 3. Please see the following list which shows where and who I am teaching at the moment.

---St. Benedit School (Teaching 7-10 years old kids Basic Mandarin in a fun way)
---Falkner house school (Teaching in this girl's school Basic Mandarin)
---Guildford Royal Grammar School (Teaching two boys who are studying for GCSE Chinese exam)
---Private tuitions (some are beginners, some are studying for GCSE)

---Chinese Wise school (teaching a group of kids aged 3-6 Mandarin Chinese)

Tutoring Approach:

I try to make the classes as fun as possible while focusing upon useful phrases that someone would use in every day life.
My classes focus on the student speaking and practising as much as possible during the class to maximise the amount they learn.
Most importantly I adapt my teaching to suit every one's actual need---it is tailor-made lesson!
