Information About Jamie:


Personal Description:

My name is Jamie, I am 28 years old and come from Lesmahagow in South Lanarkshire.

I am a qualified TESOL teacher and have accreditation from the Council of Teachers too.



Teaching Experience:

During my time as a student in Germany, I was helping young Germans prepare for their school leaving qualifications in English. After graduating from university I began teaching English to speakers of other languages.



Tutoring Approach:

I offer one on one tutoring which is a more formal, direct and intensive which I like to base on your daily experiences.

I also offer conversational practice. The latter is more informal, done usually over a coffee, in the supermarket, at a museum, etc so as to bring learning into your daily environment.

In both cases, the emphasis is on becoming better understood and speaking more like a native.
