Personal Description:
I am 30 years old and I have lived and studied in London for the past 8 years. I am a native English speaker and fluent in French. I studied French at university and I have just completed a Master's degree in TEFL. I am currently a PGCE student in Modern Foreign Languages.
Teaching Experience:
I have been working as an ESOL tutor in a secondary school teaching 11-18 year olds for the last three years and I have also extensive experience teaching ESOL to adults. I have given private tuition covering GCSE subjects in general as well as mentoring students at school.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to try to make learning a fun experience so that it is not a chore. I feel that if students begin to enjoy learning they will be able to learn more independently.
It is important for students to feel that they are progressing as they want to and so my methods are student focused, but I feel I can guide students in the right direction for what they want to achieve.
