Personal Description:
My name is Stephanie, and I'm 23. I have 10 GCSEs at A* or A grade level, 4 A levels at A-C level, a first class degree from the Univeristy of Nottingham in Art History and Classical Civilisation, and an MA in Art History from The University of Manchester. I love learning and helping others, I am very personable and friendly, organised and professional.
Teaching Experience:
I have no classroom experience.
Tutoring Approach:
As part of the tutoring responsibility, I would take care to prepare effective and helpful tutorials, including exercises for the tutee, and homework where appropriate. I would hope to encourage the tutee in their studies and help them to enjoy their work, rather than resent it. I would ensure that I was fully prepared and conversant in the necessary topics and ensure a detailed knowledge of the tutee's requirements (specific curricula, level of teaching, necessary texts, marking schemes, etc). I have an excellent command of English, I am patient and imaginative, and never condescending or patronising. I believe these qualities to be essential in a tutor.
