Personal Description:
I am a teacher by nature. I care deeply about the French language and helping people who struggle with the language to know that it can be easy. I put in 100% effort and if I can exceed 100% then that's great but if I cannot I know when it's time to move on. I have high expectations from people and from myself.
Teaching Experience:
During my four months living and working in France, I helped many of my French colleagues with their French. Furthermore during my first year in college, I gave lessons to a Leaving Certificate honours student again in French and he did quite well.
Tutoring Approach:
I am compassionate and allow people their time to figure it out for themselves. However, nothing is more important than hard work and I believe if you are in a classroom you are there to learn. With regard to the French language, one must work on pronunciation and getting the basics right before you proceed to the next level. I am fair but strict when I have to. There is nothing worse than non-participation and everyone regardless of level should get involved. This is applied to all type classes.
