Personal Description:
I am married with 3 children who have finished compulsory education.
I had been working as a self-employed maths tutor for the past 2 years.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified maths teacher with 4 years of secondary teaching experience and 2 years of tutoring.
I have experience of tutoring mathematics from year 4 through to A level.
Tutoring Approach:
I appreciate that there is a wide range of mathematical abilities, but I believe that everyone can make progress. My main aim is to build the tutee's confidence.
I believe it is important to monitor and report on our progress throughout the tutoring process.
I use maths ICT on my laptop to assist the tuition and I will be prepared to do some tutoring via email or using skype.
My hourly charge of 21 is for tutees who come weekly to my home. I am willing to travel up to 5 miles but the charge would be 25 per hour.
