Personal Description:
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a first class honours degree in Mathematics and then studied for a Masters at The University of Manchester. Since then I have taught English as a foreign language and have now been teaching mathematics for 3 years. I currently have two other tutees; one studying for intermediate GCSE, the other for a masters in financial mathematics.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught primary level in Edinburgh schools as part of a work experience placement whilst at university. I then taught first and second year degree mathematics whilst studying for my masters degree in Manchester. I am now the A-Level mathematics coordinator at my school, Cranford Community College in Hounslow, London.
Tutoring Approach:
As I have resources for both the AQA and Edexcel exam boards I prefer to provide these to the student before the actual tutoring hour; the tutee can then work through these questions so we can identify the areas to improve upon. This service is also available for 11-14 year olds and A-Level mathematics. Unfortunately I cannot provide this for degree level, you would need to bring your own resources.
