Information About Rachel:
Personal Description:
I am a graduate of Spanish and German. I graduated in summer 2007 with a BA (Hons) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Teaching Experience:
I have teaching experience working within a secondary school as well as tutoring experience.
I have also completed a 100 hour TEFL course which has equipped me excellent skills in teaching methods and lesson planning. I am able to help those who are learning English as a foreign language improve their speaking skills and grammar.
I try to use fun methods when teaching as this helps the student to retain more information. Games, flash cards and props are all helpful when learning and I try to incorporate all of these into a lesson, depending on the level.
Tutoring Approach:
Depending on the level of the tutee, I will prepare enjoyable lessons and homeworks to enable the tutee to progress in the language with confidence. If the tutee is doing a GCSE in the language, I will assess what needs to be covered in order to prepare for the exam.
