Personal Description:
I have been teaching English for the past six years. I went to York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and studied Psychology/Linguistics. I have a happy, creative approach to teaching and I am really dedicated to the success of my students.
Teaching Experience:
I taught English at Ace Learning Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for five years. As well, I am currently teaching a Literacy program at a primary school in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to approach tutoring creatively. I have created games and various worksheets to make learning an enjoyable experience. When learning to read, I believe in learning individual sounds before tackling whole words. I also believe in constant monitoring of progress and I will deliver a test every other week.
