Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic historian and currently teaching History in Secondary School.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for 5 years now and taught at all levels from S1 to Higher. I am fully versed in all aspects of the Scottish curriculum Standard Grade, Intermediate and Higher level. I have been tutoring for 4 years now and all my students have achieved at least a B at Higher or a Credit award at S Grade.
Tutoring Approach:
I am keen to work individually with students concentrating on any area of the course they are having difficulty with. At the first meeting we will work our an individual learning plan to tackle troublesome areas.This can of course be adapted as we progress. Tutoring sessions can be a variety of things from discussion about key knowledge aspects of the course, specific help with essay structure or more in depth explanation of any confusing aspects of work.
