Personal Description:

I am a graduate from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta. For my graduation I studied Accountancy, Mathematics and Economics as main or core subjects. Presently I am studying MBA from London School of Commerce (or LSC). I have work experience of one year. I worked for HSBC's Global Call Centre in India. I worked there in a department called Customer Credit Services. My job title was Customer Service Executive. It was a permanent job but I had to resign to pursue management studies.



Teaching Experience:

Although I do not have any professional Teaching experience but I did teach privately. My main strength lies in understanding a student's need and I believe as a teacher I should be able to find out that in order to help the pupil. I therefore believe in one-on-one tuition.
In a class it is not possible to teach that way. I also believe that no one student is better than the other, it is some the technique that they need to apply in order to do well in an examination. As a teacher i believe i am the one who can teach a how to make learnings fun and not boring by giving him or her too much of homework. In maths especially, you can never solve all the problems and prepare for an examination.



Tutoring Approach:

As i have discussed above, i also feel good if i can pass on or impart with knowledge that i had gained. I like to see young student to learn, but not in a fashion where they don't enjoy what they are learning. I want to make sure that my student to enjoy as well as learn what he or she has to learn.
