Information About Chiara:
Personal Description:
I'm an enthusiastic, cheerful and passionate teacher, patient and with extensive teaching experience with different kind of students. I love teaching and I enjoy helping my students to learn my own language and culture, but I also have a great interest in learning about their own culture. After working in my own country with students from all over the world, now I have decided to live a different and challenging experience working and teaching abroad, where I can further develop skills gained through my degree and my work experience.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching in a private "Italian language school for foreigners" in Milan (Italy) for 2 years, also with private companies since 2004, and as a volunteer to non-UE immigrants for 8 years. I teach both groups and individuals, General Italian and Business Italian as well.
Tutoring Approach:
I always and carefully evaluate my students' needs, interests, and skill levels in order to tailor activities to meet their linguistic needs, maintain their interest and create a funny and relaxed learning environment. I make sure students are given opportunities to try out and work with the language, the real language Italians talk, learning-by-doing and by having fun!
