Personal Description:
I am a friendly, approachable 27 year old female living in the South Side of Glasgow.
Teaching Experience:
I completed a BA degree in English and Human Resource Management at Strathclyde University. I went on to obtain a Classroom Assistant Certificate from Langside College and from there progressed onto study at Strathclyde for my Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Teaching. I have been teaching in primary schools since graduating and have had experience of working with children at all stages.
Tutoring Approach:
I will plan and implement a progressive and coherent teaching programme. This will be tailored to suit the child in order to facilitate maximum learning. I will assess the child to discover their individual learning style before embarking on the tutoring. I use a range of resources and strategies so that the child can reach their full potential. Learning should be a fun and relaxed experience and I will ensure that this is case with my tutoring.
Additionally I am very interested in Special Needs. I will happily tutor any child with a special need or learning difficulty.
