Information About Richard:


Personal Description:

I gained my PhD five years ago. I just stopped been a Post Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College, London due to the birth of my son.



Teaching Experience:

I have tutored many A-level students in and around London.Previously I help run a Biochemistry lab, where I taught many PhD and undergraduate students over a four year period. I have also given lectures to Medical students and given small group tutorials to undergraduate students.



Tutoring Approach:

I try to quickly discover the weakness in the pupils knowledge and understanding. Using this I try to increase the students understanding of the principals behind the problem areas. I concentrate on understanding more than factual problems as I feel a though comprehension of the subject leads to an increased ability to recall details.
